The first and most famous of the Truffaut series about Antoine Doinel, this is a study of adolescence which caused shock-waves when it came out.  Antoine doesn’t like school much and since none of the adults in his life pays him much attention, he gradually opts out and gets into trouble, landing eventually in a unit for young offenders.  With Jean-Pierre Léaud (Antoine), Albert Rémy (father) and Claire Maurier (mother).
